Organ donors unite
If organ donors
were moved to the front of the waiting list for
organs, then there would be no shortage
["Transplant Trauma," January 13]. While
the federal government is not yet ready to make this
solution the law of the land, a nonprofit
grass-roots movement called LifeSharers is making it
a reality. Anyone who wants his or her organs to be
offered first to other organ donors can join
LifeSharers at www.lifesharers.com.
